Introduction

Inspired by Women's Home Companion recipe which I changed by adding creamed corn. The dough comes wetter than the original but I found that can get basic "scone" look if you use a drop biscuit style of putting it on the pan rather than trying to roll and cut it them out. Ingredients

    1/3 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    2/3 cup white, all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 baking powder, low-sodium
    2 tbsp Splenda Granular
    2 tbsp Canola Oil
    1 serving Egg, large
    2 tbsp Milk, nonfat
    1/2 tsp Kosher Salt, Coarse
    3/4 Cream Style Corn (one 14.5 oz can

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Combine in bowl all dry ingredients and sift with fingers to insure that there are no lumps in mixture, add oil and blend in with fork or pastry cutter until flour has pea sized lumps throughout it, add milk stir and stir until smooth, add corn and using spoon shape as best you can into triangles bake for 15 min and let cool for 5. Enjoy!
