Ingredients

13 (2") slices of sourdough french bread
3 oz turkey ham, diced
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 cup sliced mushrooms
3/4 cup 2% cheddar cheese (Kraft)
2 cups egg beaters
2 cups skim milk
1 tbsp salt, or to taste
1 tbsp black pepper, or to taste
Directions
Place the sliced bread into an 8" x 11" cake pan, slicing to fit as needed. Try to get the entire bottom of the pan covered with bread. Top the bread with the turkey ham, onions, peppers and mushrooms, making sure ingredients are evenly distributed. Top with the cheese.
In a separate bowl, combine egg beaters and skim milk and whisk together. Pour over bread and vegetable mixture in baking pan. Cover tightly with tin foil and refrigerate.
It is best if you refrigerate this overnight before baking to allow the bread to soak up the egg and milk.
Bake, covered, at 350*F for one hour or until the center is set. Once the center is set, remove tin foil cover and bake an additional 10 - 15 minutes or until top is nicely browned. Serve and enjoy!
