Ingredients

    454 grams Split Peas
    1 leek Leeks
    2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potato, raw
    1 clove Garlic
    0.25 cup Parsley

Directions

use 1 lb bag of dried split peas
chop leek, celery & potato
add 7 c hot water
2 bay leaves
put the garlic thru a garlic press
add 1 tsp oregano
10 rotations of a pepper grinder
1 generous tsp of salt
