    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, .5 tsp
    Cherries, 1.5 cup, chopped
    Honey, .25 cup
    Orange Peel, 1 tsp

    I used the recipe as a great starter but added onions to the bottom of the crock and sliced apples. I used canned cherries including the liquid. Spices were perfect. Served it with brown rice. - 6/24/08

    DH and I both loved this. I did leave out the salt to cut down on the sodium. We didn't miss it. - 6/29/19
