Ingredients

    1 cup Flour, white
    6 tsp Granulated Sugar
    1.5 tsp Baking Powder
    4 tbsp Shortening, Crisco
    1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    .25 cup Milk, 3.25%
    4 medium (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 Peaches, fresh

Tips

Can also top with any canned fruit filling. Cherry is good.


Directions

Sift dry ingredients. Blend in shortening. Add egg, beaten with milk to make .5 cup liquid. Press into 12 inch pie plate. Cover with 4 sliced peaches, peeled. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

Serving Size: Makes 6 2 inch pieces
