Ingredients

    2 cups of diced meat from turkey drumsticks
    asparagus
    2 cups sliced zucchini
    1/2 barley
    bok choy
    1 cup low sodium chicken bouillion
    8 cups of water
    1 medium onion
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 beef bouillon cube - low sodium


Directions

-Make stock by adding 2 large drumsticks to crockpot with water, pepper and bouillion. Cook for 3-4 hours. Remove drumsticks and remove meat from bones. Clean out grisle and skin. Yield should be 2 cups.
- put meat back in crock pot with vegetables, barley and prepared lentils.

If there is to much liquid int he crock pot, remove excess and refrigerate. Soup will cook down after a couple of hours and broth can be readded or used as stock for your next soup!
