Ingredients

    2 cup Flour, white
.13 tsp Salt (table) (by CYNDYY1)
4 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
    5 tbsp cold water (exactly)

Directions

Mix the flour and salt together. Add the oil and mix with a fork until small balls form (the size of a pea or kidney bean). Add water and mix with fork. May need to complete mixing with hands. Divide dough in half...can have one half a little bigger than the other. Big half will be bottom crust/small half top crust. Roll dough out between two pieces of wax paper. Lay crust into pie dish. Top with fruit filling. Add top crust. Pinch sides. Put slits in top. Sprinkle a little sugar on top (optional). Bake according to filling instructions (425 degrees for 40 minutes...for an applie pie from scratch)

Serving Size: 8 slices of pie (double crust)

Number of Servings: 8
