Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    Extra Firm Tofu - 3 blocks
    Chili Beans - 2 cans
    Kidney Beans - 2 cans
    Diced Tomatos - 2 cans
    Tomato Sauce - 1 can
    Mixed Vegetables - 1 package (16 oz)
    Taco Bell Taco Seasoning - 1 packet
    Chili Powder - 3 TBS
    Cumin - 1 TSP
    Garlic Powder - 1 TSP
    Onion Powder - 1 TSP

Directions

Drain (but don't squeeze) and crumble tofu into large stock pot.
Add chili beans, kidney beans, diced tomatos, tomato sauce and mixed vegetables. Stir together.
Add Taco Seasoning - Stir
Add Chili Powder - Stir
Add Cumin, Garlic and Onion - Stir

Cook on medium - high until it begins to boil
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning on the bottom of the pot.

Great when served with crackers and shredded cheese!

    Since I'm the only vegetarian in my family, I only made a half batch of this, but I put in the full amount of spices. It was perfect for me like that. This is definitely a recipe I'd make again. Thanks for sharing! - 4/15/08

    Very Good
    My 10 year old Vegetarian son was really missing "Texas" style chili , but he loathes the thought of eating meat.
    I made this for him and he was ecstatic!

    Incredible!
    Whole family thought this was delicious and filling. Definitely a keeper. In fact my teenage daughter said we should go on an all tofu diet and she previously did not want to touch tofu. Thumbs up - 2/14/08
