Ingredients

    0.75 cup Steel Cut Oats, dry
    1 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 Apples, fresh with skin
    3 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    1 tbsp Vanilla extract, imitation, alcohol
    1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    .5 tbsp Maple Syrup

Tips

prep and put in fridge for next day or for the upcoming week.


Directions

1. place the oats, diced apple and water in a medium sized saucepan, stir and put on high heat.
2. Once the oats start to boil, let it boil for 1 minute and then remove from the heat and stir in vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup.
3. store in airtight container. You can either chop up additional apples and stir into the oatmeal or chop it fresh and top before eating.
