Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Chuck, 80/20
    approximately 50 Turkey Pepperoni slices, quartered
    1 Med. Green Bell Pepper (or any color you like), finely chopped
    2 cloves Garlic, minced
    1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
    28 oz can Muir Glen Fire Roasted Crushed Tomatoes
    4 cup Swanson's Natural Goodness Chicken Broth
    1 tsp Dried Basil
    1 tsp Dried Oregano
    1 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Tips

Directions

heat olive oil in dutch oven.

when shimmering add chopped bell pepper and garlic. saute a few minutes; just until softened well.

add ground beef and pepperoni and cook until no longer pink, stirring frequently to break ground beef into small bits.

carefully drain fat off of beef mixture.

stir in remaining ingredients.

bring to a boil and then lower temp and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 10 - 1 cup servings
