Ingredients

    250 grams macaroni (uncooked)
300 grams ground beef or pork
    1 red onion, chopped
    400 grams Italian vegetable mix
55 grams (one package) macaroni mix (e.g. Knorr)
1 tsp dried chilli flakes (optional)
    2 tbsp olive oil

This would also be delicious with pickled onions, tomato puree, or chopped pickles added.

Directions

Heat the oil in a large skillet and brown the ground beef/pork (I used pork) together with the chopped onion. When browned, add the vegetable mix and cook for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the macaroni according to the package.

Add the macaroni mixture to the ground beef/pork and vegetables (if your mix needs water, add water too), cook for 5 minutes.

Add the cooked macaroni and mix everything together well.
