Ingredients

    1.25 cups quick cooking oats
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    .5 teaspoon salt
    1 cup milk
    1 egg
    .25 canola oil
    1 cup blueberries, rinsed and drained

Directions

1. Combine oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix in milk, egg, and oil; mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in blueberries. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
2. Bake at 425 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Very Good
    I added .5 cup blackberries chopped to the recipe.
    Note that the .25 for canola oil is .25 cup (I wasn't sure when I made this but it turned out well).
    Also note that the directions talk about mixing until moistened and folding in the fruit -- my batter was much more liquid and came out fine.

    Incredible!
    Loved this recipe. So easy to throw together. I mixed in a sprinkle of cinnamon. I also got 12 muffins. Will definitely make again. - 3/16/09

    Very Good
    This was a very good, basic blueberry muffin--not too sweet and very moist. The recipe made 12 regular size muffins for me rather than 15. - 9/5/08
