Ingredients
-
5 serving Onions, yellow, raw 1 oz.
9 gram(s) Fresh Garlic (1 clove = 3g) (by AMBUDMAN)
3 tsp Garam Masala (by BIGGIRL2082010)
1 tsp Ginger Root
1 tsp Cumin seed
5 serving Chicken - Boneless & Skinless Breast (4 ounces)
1.75 cup Canned Goods: Thai Kitchen Organic Coconut Milk (13.66 oz can)
2 can Canned Tomatoes
Tips
I subbed coconut milk for the Greek yogurt and plain whole canned tomatoes for the tomato sauce. Ingredients/quantities reflect my changes.
Directions
Combine onion, garlic, spices, and tomatoes in your slow cooker. Mix to combine, then add the cut up chicken. Stir, and cook on low for 6 hours (or high for 4).
Twenty minutes before you want to eat, put the yogurt into a separate bowl. Stirring continuously, add 1/4 cup at a time of the hot tomato sauce to the yogurt, until you’ve added about 2 cups. Then, pour the entire thing back into the crock pot and stir to combine.
Cook another 15-20 minutes, or until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve garnished with lime and cilantro.
