Introduction

Delicious flavorful snack or side dish! Delicious flavorful snack or side dish!
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 each of red, orange, yellow and green bell peppers chopped in 1.4 inch pieces
    5 T vinegar (cider or red wine is best)
    Dry or fresh basil, crushed
    1 T Olive Oil
    1.3 cup choppen onions or green onions
    1/2 head red cabbage, finely chopped or shredded
    fresh garlic
    Sea sail or sitrus salt to taste

Directions

Chop bell peppers, onion, and cabbage and combine in larger bowl. Chop or crush basil and garlic, sprinkle in and mix with salad. Drizzle on olive oil and vinegar, mix to coat evenly. Season with sea salt or citrus salt if you have it... the amount depends on your taste. Garnish with parsley or basil leaves for presentation, and/or serve on an outside leaf of red cabbage. Makes 5 servings.
