    1 lb. Ground turkey
2 slices whole wheat bread, picked
1 8 oz. can of water chestnuts, chopped
    2 tbsp. hoisin sauce
    2 scallions, chopped
    1 tbsp ginger, minced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 cups bean sprouts

Combine all ingredients except for bean sprouts. Form into 4 patties. Grill until done, adding bean sprouts for the last 5 minutes of cook time. (If doing this on a foreman grill, heat up the bean sprouts separately and put them on top just before serving. These taste great on a bun or on their own.

These make a very interesting burger. Ate it on a bun last night, but am planning on breaking it up and putting it on a salad tonight. Water chestnuts make a great surprise crunch. A different way to enjoy turkey burgers. - 8/4/08

This dish is amazing. Turns blah turkey burgers into yummy goodness. I had to separate the servings into their own containers, or I'd eat too much. I make all of my food for the week on Sunday, and I can't wait to eat this every day.

I baked mine in the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes

Delicious with Simple Thai Chicken Salad. Just omit the chicken and pop the burger next to the salad.
