Introduction

Whole wheat pasta, sausage & broccoli with olive oil, garlic and cheese. Whole wheat pasta, sausage & broccoli with olive oil, garlic and cheese.

Ingredients

    Whole wheat cork screws, 1 lb
    Fresh broccoli, 3 cups, cooked
    Italian flavored chicken sausage
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Olive Oil, 6 Tbls
    Grated Parmesan cheese, 4 Tbls

Directions

Cook pasta according to directions. During the last 5 minutes of cooking the pasta, add the broccoli to cook in the water. Cut the sausage in bite size pieces and fry using non-stick cookware (add a little water if sticking occurs).
Drain the pasta and broccoli and return to the pot it was cooked in. Add the cooked sausage, oil, cheese and garlic and toss to coat and serve.
