Ingredients
-
2 3/4 cup flour
2.5 tsp yeast
1 cup lukewarm water
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
Directions
1. Put yeast and lukewarm water in your mixing bowl, with mixer fitted with dough hook.
2. Add sugar and mix yeast and water together until yeast is mostly dissolved.
3. Add 1 cup of the flour and mix until just incorporated. Let mixture stand until bubbles begin to form.
4. Add salt and remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time until most of flour is incorporated. Dough will be a little sticky, but workable.
5. Divide dough into 2 balls and wrap in plastic wrap. Place on counter for 30 min. or in fridge for 60 min or until ready to use. (At this point, you can place dough in freezer for a later use. To use, just thaw out on the counter or in the fridge and dough will rise as it thaws.)
6. Place risen dough on a floured surface and punch down. Roll out as thick or thin as you want.
7. Place on a sprayed baking sheet and bake for 5-6 min (or until they begin to brown) at 425 degrees (for thin crust pizza, thicker crusts will take longer). Top with favorite toppings and enjjoy! Makes 2 thin crust 13x9 pizzas.
