Introduction

These are very simple cookies using pie crust. You can top them off with fresh fruit or cinnamon sugar These are very simple cookies using pie crust. You can top them off with fresh fruit or cinnamon sugar
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    2 Cups Flour
    2/3 Cup Shortening
    6-8 Tablespoons Cold Water

Directions

Combine flour and shortening till it resembles course crumbs. Add Water one tablespoon at a time. Roll out on flat surface. Using cookie cutters, cut shapes. Place on Greased pan. (You may add, butter and cinnamon sugar on the tops before baking). Bake for 7 minutes om a 450 degree oven. Top with desired fresh fruit.

    I have been making these for years, and use to eat them when I was a kid. I still eat these all the time and they are great!!! Very simple, quick and taste the best toped with a sprinkle of cin. and sugar. - 1/20/09
