Ingredients

1 Box pasta by Barilla Protein Plus
1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
    3 clove Garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp Ghee
    1/2 stick Butter
1 lb Large Raw Shrimp, broiled (1 serving = 4 ozs or 7/8 shrimp)
    1 Tbsp Basil
    1 Tbsp Oregano, ground
    1 fl oz Lemon Juice
    1 small Onions, raw
1/2 cup bread crumbs ( I like Panko Japanese style),
    Parmesan cheese (optional)

Tips

I use ghee and butter mix for the health benefits of ghee, but you can use butter only - just double the amount

Directions

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Chop onion while pan is heating.
In a large skillet over medium heat, combine butter, Ghee, Basil, red pepper flakes and oregano. Add onion, Add shrimp, shelled, deveined and without tails. Add garlic, lemon juice and panko crumbs. Gently stir mixture for 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink throughout. Drain pasta, stir in shrimp and sauce.
Makes 4 servings. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese if desired.
