Ingredients

    Main mix:
    1.5 medium (2-3/4" dia)
    4 cup, shredded Cabbage, fresh
1 cup, strips or slices Carrots, raw
    .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw

    Dressing:
    2 tbsp Canola Oil
5 tsp plain sugar or honey
4 tbsp Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
    2 tsp Lime Juice
    .75 tsp Celery seed
    .75 tbsp Caraway Seed
    1 tsp Whole Grain Mustard
    .25 tsp red chili flakes
    dash of cayenne pepper
    black pepper to taste

Tips

The mix tastes better the day after making the slaw. Adjust spices to your likes, or mix it up using fresh herbs or green onions instead of white.

Directions

1. Slice apples, carrots, and cabbage thinly and dice the onions. Dump into a bowl and mix together.
2. Whisk remaining ingredients together and adjust to taste (bearing in mind that the spices and heat will intensify in the fridge once stored)
3. Combine both slaw mixture and dressing and toss with tongs to evenly coat.
4. Store in the refrigerator--it gets better as it sits.
