Ingredients

    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1.5 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp each of baking soda and salt
    1 3/4 cup buttermilk (I used 1% milk with vinegar)
    2 tbsp reduced-fat butter or margarine melted (not fat free)
    1 egg
    1 tbsp honey
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 cup mashed, ripe bananas (optional)

Directions

Makes 10 pancakes (4 inch in diameter)
