Ingredients

    6 Slices Bacon (diced)
    3 C. Sliced Onions
    2 Eggs
    1 C. Milk
    1 - 9-inch Pie Crust
3 oz. Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dice bacon & render until almost crisp. Add onions & cook over medium heat until onions are wilted but not browned about 10 minutes. Combine the eggs & milk. Put onions & bacon into pie crust (in pan), pour milk & eggs over, then sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes or until filling is set. Let cool on a rack for a few minutes before cutting into wedges. Makes 6 servings. If you are using a lower fat milk it may be watery once you cut it. Just use a baster to remove or sop up with a paper towel.
