Introduction

So rich it doesn't need icing!! So rich it doesn't need icing!!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup cocoa
    1 tsp baking soda
    1.2 tsp salt
    1 cup water
    6 tbsp oil
    1 tbsp vinegar
    1 tsp vanilla

Directions

lightly grease 8 inch cake pan with cooking spray.
Preheat oven to 350 (180 C)
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add water. Mix. Add oil and vanilla. Beat with egg beater. Add vanilla. Stir untill smooth. Pour batter into pan and place in oven.
Bake for 30-35 min. Test with toothpick. If it comes out clean it is ready.
Note: This cake tastes great if frozen and then thawed before served.

    Great Cake! It's true, it doesn't need icing. although it would be even better with it. I'm amazed how long it stays moist too. Ours is still great 2 days later. - 3/27/07
