Introduction

Ingredients

    - 1 lb. ground turkey (lean)
    - 1 medium onion, chopped
    - 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    - .75 cup water
    - 1 pkg. Jiffy Cornbread mix
    - 1.75 cup water

Directions

Preheat oven at 400 degrees.

In one pan, saute onion and then add ground turkey until brown. Drain, if necessary. Add Chili powder and .75 cup of water. Let sit on low for 5 minutes.

In second pan, combine Jiffy mix with 1.75 cup of water on medium-high heat. Stir as the mixture turns into the consistancy of stiff mashed potatoes.

Spray 9x9 pan with cooking spray and then add half of cornbread mixture to pan. Spread out to cover the bottom of the pan.

Place ground turkey mixture on top and cover with remaining cornbread mix.

Bake for 20 minutes.
