Ingredients

    premade 9" pie crust
    1/3 C splenda blend for baking
    1/4 C whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    dash of salt (optional)
    8 C thinly sliced apples
    TOPPING:
    1/2 C whole wheat flour
    1/2 C oats
    1/2 C buttery spread
    1/2 C packed splenda blend brown sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 425.
Follow prep directions on pie crust and put in a deep dish pie pan.
Peel and thinly slice apples and put in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine sugar, flour and spices. Sprinkle and mix with sliced apples until apples are well coated. Turn into the prepared pie crust.
TOPPING:
Mix together all ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of the apples.

Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil for the final 10 minutes to prevent burning.
