I love spaghetti but needed to make it a little healthier...try my recipe!

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    You will need:
    1 box of whole wheat spaghetti noodles
    1 LB of lean ground beef (also good with ground chicken)
    2 medium Zucchini
    1 Vadalia onion
    1-2 red ripe tomato's
    3 cloved of garlic
    1 Jar of spaghetti sauce
    1 package of sliced baby portabella mushrooms
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper

Directions

Prepare your noodles.
Dice then saute your onion, Portabella Mushrooms, Zucchini and garlic with salt and pepper, after draining add your Spaghetti suace and keep under light to medium heat.
Brown your ground beef, drain and add to your sauce mixture. Makes 5 servings

    This meal was good in fact it was very good, it was quick and easy. I am from the Caribbean and I like rice, flour and spaghetti, I needed a healthier way to prepare it and now I've found that way.... - 9/26/08
