Ingredients

    8 oz. scallops, minced
    4 oz. raw shrmp, peeled, deveined, and minced
    1/2 cup minced scallions
    1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger root
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
    2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
    36 round dumpling wrappers (if you can only find square ones, use a cup to cut them into circles)
    2 Tbsp. canola oil, divided
    3/4 cup water, divided
