Ingredients

    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    *Flour, white, 2.5 cup (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp (remove)
    Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
    Yeast, active quick dry, 1.5 tsp

Directions

Add all ingredients in bread machine. Set for dough cycle.

When dough is done needing, place in completely greased bowl and allow to rise until doubled in size, about 30 minutes. Punch down and roll into 16 x 12 square. Cut into two 8 x12 squares. Roll into baguettes, starting with 8" side. Place on greased ban and allow to rise again until doubled. Brush with egg yolk mixed with water. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.

    Thanks for posting this! I've made this type of bread before, but it was nice to find it ready-calculated. I did not use a bread machine and didn't use an egg wash. I also separated the dough into individual rolls before baking to help me portion control. Yummy! - 12/26/08
