Ingredients

    1 Whole Chicken
    4 oz. Chicken Broth
    2 oz. Spiced Apple Cider or Apple Juice (you can use sweetened or unsweetened)
    1 tsp. Onion Powder
    1 tsp. Rosemary
    1 tsp. Marjoram
    1 tsp. Garlic Powder

Directions

This is beyond easy. First, clean the chicken thoroughly. Place in crock pot and add the broth and juice/cider. Just sprinkle the herbs over the chicken and set the timer!

You can do this with either a frozen or thawed chicken. For frozen I cooked on medium half the time and low the other half for roughly 6 hours. For thawed I cooked on low for 4 1/2 hours or so.

This will yield roughly 4 breast servings, the 2 legs, and then thigh and wing meat. It depends on how large your chicken is but with a 4 lb chicken I had enough for 3 meals for two people.
