Introduction
This is a new twist on the original Chex Puppy Chow that I made up one day when I had a craving for the yummy snack but didn't have any Chex cereal. However, I did have Kix and the resulting "chow" tastes just like Reeses cereal but better! Ingredients
-
-9 cups Kix Cereal
-1 cup chocolate chips
-0.5 cup peanut butter (smooth kind)
-1.5 cup powdered sugar
Directions
1) Put the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute (time may vary depending on your microwave so keep an eye on it).
2) Take the mixture out of the microwave and stir. The chocolate chips will melt as you stir. If there are still chunks left, keep microwaving for 30 seconds longer and stirring after each period until the mixture is smooth. (It shouldn't take longer than 2 minutes max.)
3) In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate/ PB mixture with the Kix cereal until thoroughly coated.
4) Add cereal and powder sugar in a large plastic bag and shake until coated. Enjoy!
