Introduction

You don't have to go on vacation for a taste of the tropics! You don't have to go on vacation for a taste of the tropics!

Ingredients

    1 cup frozen pineapple pieces1 frozen banana (peel banana before freezing)3/4 cup milk1/2 cup low fat vanilla yogurt1/2 cup orange juice3 tablespoons coconut

Directions

Whirl all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately.



Makes 3 servings.

    it was okay as a smoothie but i froze mine again and it's better as a frozen slush kind of thing. i don't think there was enough flavors i mostly tasted banana and the coconut flakes. it was easy to make and clean up ...the kids love it..healthy variation to icecream and fruit in your diet!!! - 6/10/07

    mmmm I LOVE PINA COLOTA AND DANCING IN THE RAIN.. this is a fantastic drink .. i couldn't wait till i froze the fruit so i added a few ice cubes in my glass and drank it with a straw.. yum and for me it was just sweet enough and tasty...i bet this would be yummy as frozen popsicles.. mmm - 3/28/08
