Really GOOD! I didn't add the beer but this came out fantastic and I am loving the calories for this meal! Thanks for sharing! - 3/7/12

I used all the ingredients more or less my own way. This was a great foundation for one of my all time Mexican dishes. I will make this over and over and over again.

    Thank you!

I wound up mixing all of the ingredients for the marinade together and then baked it on 300 for about 3 hours. I let it cool and then pulled it apart with two forks for nachos! YUMMY! - 8/13/09

wow thaks for the recipe, its just like they make it in mexico. I like it with the beer. the alcohol cooks off but make the meat tender & juice. I'm making this on Friday. - 12/9/08

do you have to use beer? or is it optional? - 12/8/08

Its optional I use it because it helps tenderize and gives a nice flavor but I have made it without and its just as good
