Ingredients

    -2 Packages Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls
    -2 small apples
    -1 TBSP Sugar
    -1 TBSP Brown Sugar
    -1 TBSP Lemon Juice
    -1 TBSP Water
    -Cinnamon
    -4 TBSP Honey (Optional)

Directions

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. Peel, Core, and chop apples. In a microwave safe bowl, combine the following: Apples, sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, water, and cinnamon (to taste). Mix well. Microwave at 50% power for 3 minutes.

Separate out crescent roll dough into triangles. Sprinkle with cinnamon as desired. Place a small spoonful of cinnamon in the center of 1/2 the triangles. Places the other 1/2 of the triangles on top of the apple topped triangles. Press down all edges with a fork. Place all 8 filled triangle pockets on a sprayed cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Drizzle each Turnover with 1/2 TBSP of honey if desired.
