Introduction

Ingredients

    2 slices sourdough sandwich bread
    2 tablespoons I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Fat-Free
    2 slices 90% fat free ham
    1 slice 2% deli-style Swiss cheese
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    1 large egg

Directions

Preheat skillet over medium heat. Once hot, butter one side of one of the sourdough bread slices and place in skillet butter-side down. On top of bread in skillet layer ham slices and cheese slice. On remaining piece of bread, spread 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard on one side and place Dijon-side down on top of ham and cheese. Spread remaining 1 tablespoon butter on top of the Dijon bread. Flip sandwich and cook on other side.

In another skillet, this one coated with nonstick cooking spray, crack 1 large egg and fry until desired doneness.

Remove Croque Madame from first skillet and place on serving plate. Top the sandwich with the fried egg.
