Ingredients

for BBQ Sauce:
1 1/2 cups water
5 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/2 cups Heinz no salt added ketchup
2/3 cup cider vinegar
For Dish:
2 lbs jennie-o extra lean ground turkey
2 cups homemade bbq sauce
1 med spanish onion diced
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp celery seed
2 tsp yellow mustard
1/4 cup molasses
15.25 oz red kidney beans, boiled drained
15 oz navy beans, boiled, drained
8 oz fresh mushrooms, cooked
Directions
for sauce:
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover pan and simmer gently for about 1 1/2 hours until sauce thickens. if making ahead of time, store in tightly covered jar in refrigerator. Makes about 2 cups.
for Cowboy beans :
brown ground turkey, drain
add meat and all other ingredients into a crock pot. stir well. cook in crock pot on low-med for at least 3 hours.
makes 8 1 cup servings
