Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1/3 cup flaxseed meal
    1/3 cup oat flour
    2 large eggs
    2 medium bananas mashed
    1 cup water
    1 cup apple sauce
    1 cup brown rice syrup
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    * optional 1/2 cup chocolate chips to sprinkle on top

Directions

-coat non-stick bread pan with a little butter or canola oil
-scramble the eggs
-mash the bananas
-mix both with the rest of the ingredients just using a whisk and lightly mixing
-add chopped nuts and chips just stirring with a spoon
-pour into the bread tin (this will either make one large load or if you have the separated tin for 8 little ones)
-sprinkle additional chocolate chips if desired.
-bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45-minutes to an hour - I always check at 40 minutes

I calculated this recipe with the extra chocolate chips and the hershey's kiss i put in the center and it added quite a bit of extra calories. Normally, if I weren't making these as christmas gifts I would not have gone overboard on the chocolate but at least all of the ingredients are healthy ingredients. :)
