My grandmother makes this with Lime Jello for every holiday. She calls it Lime Salad and everyone loves it! - 1/11/10

  • I attempted a layered thing with the jello/pineapple mix on the bottom, a layer of cream cheese, then the celery & walnuts, topped with the cool whip. This didn't get as wonderful of reviews at ladies night, but I liked it (next time I'll leave off the celery) for a low calorie sweet item. Thanks! - 4/3/11

  • so you're using the pineapple juice instead of water?. And, how long do you let the jello & pineapplet "set" before adding the additional ingrediants?. thanks : - ) - 10/24/10

  • how does the cream cheese blend into the already jelled jello? I would love to make this but it sounds like the cream cheese would be chunky. please anyone answer if you would. thank you. - 6/28/09

  • Soo good and easy to make. The only problem is that it's too good and I can't seem to stay away from it. I left out the celery, and it's great as a snack or dessert. - 2/3/09

  • I made this today for a sparks gathering in Melbourne FL. It is JUST awesome! I used sugar free Orange Jello (they didnt' have sugar free lemon); no-fat cream cheese, and lite coolwhip (I used the whole small container). I am sure everyone will love it. I was surprised at the celery but used it. - 1/18/09

I am so glad that you enjoyed it! This came from my mother-in-law. I am not sure if she got it from Eastern Star or from her church. But we all enjoy it!!
