    1. cup bittermelon sliced
    3. Eggs large
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 1 clove
    Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 1 tbsp

Directions

cut the bitter melon into small strips.heat the skillet with 1 tsp oil.sautee garlic and onion and add the bitter melon cook for 5 mins and then add scrambled eggs.cook for anothe 3 mins or untill an omellete forms

    Incredible!
    For Bitter Melon fans (which I am) this simple recipe is a keeper! I wanted to stay fairly close to the original recipe so I repressed the urge to add salt and pepper. Used olive oil and 2 cloves of crushed garlic. Served over white rice. Not bad at all. - 9/11/10

    I sliced the bitter melon thin & cooked it a LOT longer & before the onion & garlic ... still way too bitter for me. Wanted to like it, but can't. Used 1/2 cup melon & onion to 3 eggs for just me, changed to olive oil. If you like bitter things you'll like this. Oh, and I made it more than once. - 7/22/09
