When veggies are all chopped up place them in crockpot. By this time your chicken should be taken off the burner to cool untill it is cool enough to cut into small cubes.Add tp crockpot when done. Pour the water that you cooked the chicken in into the crockpot with all your chopped up veggies and chicken. Add your chicken broth and salt and pepper. turn the crockpot onto high.
Dice the garlic into really small pieces and add to the mix. Once the soup has started to simmer you can rinse and add the beans. Turn crockpot on low and go about your day. When you are just about ready for dinner open can of peas and drain, then add 1/2 cup to soup to get peas heated. Thos can cook as long as you need it to just change the setting on crockpot to low or medium heat. If you need to have it faster you could par boil the beans to quick start them.
I love this low calorie soup and never feel guilty over having 2 servings. Hope you enjoy
