Introduction

Homemade oatmeal that's more filling and cheaper than the instant stuff. Homemade oatmeal that's more filling and cheaper than the instant stuff.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 1/2 C Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
    2 3/4 C Water
    1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
    3 tsp Brown Sugar
    1/4 C Unsweetened Applesauce
    dash of Salt

Directions

Bring water to boil in medium-sized pot. Add salt and oats and cook as instructed on box (1-5 minutes). Let simmer and add cinnamon, sugar and applesauce. Cook down until the mixture reaches desired consistency. Serve and Enjoy!
