Ingredients
-
16 oz package of Orecchiette noodles
1 package of sliced baby portabella mushrooms
About a cup of chopped asparagus
2 cans of diced organic tomatoes
16 oz package of Jennie O hot Italian Turkey Sausage
Leek or onion
Some oregano, thyme and basil (to taste)
Directions
Cook the pasta to your own taste.
Brown the sausage-(I squeezed it out of the casing, but you could also brown it first and slice it)-then let it drain on a paper towel.
Now slice up the leek (or onion) and asparagus. I used olive oil spray in the pan and just sauteed the leek, asparagus and mushrooms together for about 5-10 minutes.
Mix the tomatoes in with the cooked pasta.
Add the meat and veggies.
Done!
