Introduction

I love my rice cooker! Best thing I ever bought! I love my rice cooker! Best thing I ever bought!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 cup brown rice, uncooked
    1/2 cup lentils, uncooked
    2 cups water
    2 Tbsp onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp ground coriander
    1/4 tsp ground cumin
    1 Tbsp soy sauce
    1 Tbsp mirin (or 1 tsp sugar)
    Note: Mirin is Japanese sweet cooking sake available at Asian grocery stores. I highly recommend it!

Directions

Combine lentils, rice, water, onion, and garlic in rice cooker. Cook for 40-45 minutes.

Then scoop into a large bowl. Mix in soy sauce, mirin, coriander, and cumin and stir well.
