Ingredients

    Lean ground beef
    garilc powder- add to your taste and or 4-5 cloves garlic minced
    onion powder-add to you taste
    salt- to taste
    ground pepper- to taste
    1 large onion- chopped
    2-3 medium potatoes peeled, cubed
    3-4 cups hot water
    green chile, chopped -add to you taste and heat preference
    2-3 whole fresh tomatoes diced or 1 can whole tomatoes with juice
    8 oz can tomato sauce --only if using fresh tomatoes



Directions

makes 8-10 1 cup servings depends on amount of water used.

Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and onion in a large stock pot. Season with salt, ground pepper, garlic and onion powder.
2. Add water. Bring to boil. Add green, potatoes, tomatoes and tomato sauce if using fresh tomatoes.Add season if needed. Bring back to boil, reduce and simmer for 1 hr. Stir occationally.
3. Add more seasoning if need 30 minutes into cooking.

Serve with warm flour tortillas and homemade pinto beans.
