Ingredients
-
6 oz raw lean filet beef top sirloin
½ tsp garlic powder
Coarse Salt, as desired
Fresh Ground Pepper, as desired
Steak Seasoning, as desired
2 hoagies (I USE ARNOLD SELECT ITALLIAN ROLLS)
2 tb spoon Cheese Whiz
¾ cup sliced onions
¾ cup chopped peppers
Directions
Slice filet into thin strips (Freezing it slightly beforehand will make it easier to cut.)
Add Onions, Peppers, Steak seasoning, Fresh Ground Pepper, and Salt in a pan.
Cook onions and peppers over medium-high heat in a pan spritzed with nonstick spray for about 5 minutes, until onion slices are slightly browned. Remove onions from the pan and set aside.
Spritz a little more nonstick spray into the pan (remove pan from heat before re-spraying) and cook filet strips over medium-high heat for 1 to 2 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking. When cooked sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper.
Mix vegetable mixture with steak.
Split rolls and lineup. Put half of mixture in one roll and the rest in the second roll. Put a tb spoon chez whiz on top and let melt.
Enjoy.
