Introduction

Surpisingly keeps the flavor of the tuna, but at the same time gives it a bit of a boost. Rice vinegar gives a nice crisp flavor. Great with roasted veggies and some rice pilaf. Ingredients

    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup lime juice
    1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
    1/8 cup rice vinegar
    2 cloves garlic presed
    4 TBS fresh cilantro, chopped fine
    2 TBS ground ginger root
    2 - 3oz ahi tuna steaks

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, lime juice, vinegars, garlic, ginger, and cilantro.
Add tuna steaks, cover, let marinate for up to 4 hours in refrigerator.

Drain steaks and discard marinade.

Preheat gril, high heat, with sprayed rack. When grill is hot, reduce to low, and place steaks on grill. Close lid and cook for 2 minutes, flip, and cover again, for about 2 minutes. Open lid and continue cooking until barely done. Ahi is best with a warm pink center.
