Ingredients
-
2 oz. (uncooked) whole wheat blend spaghetti
1 c. fresh broccoli, cut into florets
1 tbsp Smart Balance Buttery Spread
1 large clove garlic, minced
pinch rosemary
pinch crushed red pepper
salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
1. While pasta cooks in salted boiling water (probably for 10 minutes, but check the box), place broccoli in a heat-safe strainer on top of pot. Loosely cover and allow broccoli to steam at least 7 minutes.
2. Heat Smart Balance in a pan. When melted, add minced garlic, rosemary, and crushed pepper flakes. Sautee on medium heat until garlic is softened and fragrant. Do not allow garlic to brown.
3. Drain pasta, and add pasta and broccoli immediately to pan. Mix well to pick up all the Smart Balance and flavors in the pan. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. YUM.

Would be awesome with chicken breast or topped with parmesan cheese. Simple but it's very delicious. Enjoy!
