A simple and delicious way to enjoy kale. A simple and delicious way to enjoy kale.

    1 large bunch kale

    1 tbsp. olive oil

    2 tsp. chopped garlic

    juice of 1/2 lemon

    red pepper flakes

    sea salt


preheat oven to 400 degrees F

clean and chop kale.

arrange kale in a baking pan.

drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the kale.

add garlic, red pepper, sea salt.

toss thoroughly.

bake for 10-12 minutes, then toss again. bake for another 5-7 minutes, depending on how crispy you like your kale.

this recipe makes 3 generous servings, but it's so good we usually finish the whole pan between the two of us.

    I don't like any veggies except for sweet potatoes, corn, and regular potatoes, and I liked these a lot! Be careful not to burn them..I did 10 minutes one side and 3 the other and that was a little too much..the second time I did 8 minutes and 3 minutes and it was perfect. Definitely try it! - 7/6/10
