Ingredients

    Barley, pearled, raw, .5 cup
    Beef, bottom round, 9 oz, chopped in bite sizes
    Celery, raw, 1 stalk, medium, chopped
    Carrots, raw, .5 cup, sliced
    Zucchini, .5 cup, sliced
    Diced Tomatoes, half 12-oz can
    Onions, raw, 1 medium, chopped
    Garlic, 2 cloves, chopped
    1 cup water
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Place all ingredients on slow cooker in low heat for about four hour or until meat is tender and barley is cooked throughtly.
Serving size is about a cup.
