Chocolate cup cakes with a chocolate chip cream cheese topping/filling. Good served chilled. Chocolate cup cakes with a chocolate chip cream cheese topping/filling. Good served chilled.
Number of Servings: 12


    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/4 cups cocoa
    1tsp baking soda
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 cup water
    1/3 cup oil
    1 cup sugar

    1 - 8 oz package of cream cheese
    1 large egg
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/2 -12 oz bag of chocolate chips or 1 1/4 cups


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine first set of ingredient: flour, cocoa, baking soda, vanilla, water, oil, sugar. Mix until thoroughly blended.

Beat together second set of ingredients: cream cheese, egg, sugar. Slowly stir in chocolate chips.

Pour first cocoa mixture into 12 paper or foil lined cupcake/muffin baking tins until evenly distributed.

Drop heaping spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture into each cupcake tin on top of the cocoa mixture (it may sink, that's totally fine) until evenly distributed.

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until baked all the way through (the cream cheese center/topping will be a bit gooey still).

Makes 12 servings.
