    I roast - 2.5 lbs
    Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
    Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
    Balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp
    1 small onion (or 1 tbsp onion flakes)


Pour ingredients over roast in either a slow cooker or roasting pan.

I like to do this in the AM before i go to work and leave it on low in the slow cooker all day. Adjust time depending on your cooker.

Can also be done in a roasting pan in the oven.

I like that this just gives you the roast and you can add whatever sides you want.

Also you can add potatos, carrots and parsnips to the mix a couple hours before its done for a good pot roast meal!

    This is a delicious recipe! My crockpot is large so I add a bit of water so the base of the roast is surrounded by about an inch of liquirds. I had no need too adjust any other flavours as it was delicious on its own - 9/8/10

  • Calorie count waaaaaaay off. The roast listed comes in at 3,360 cals.just by itself. Divided by 5 = 672 calories per serving - 4/27/15

  • Sounds good, but I don't have the Worcestershire sauce. May I substitute ...?

    Ok, I used Tabasco Spicy Teriyaki Sauce, in place of both the Worcestershire sauce and the soy sauce, as the Teriyaki sauce includes Soy Sauce in it's ingredients. I'll keep my fingers crossed! - 2/10/13
